Upcoming BRS Events

Saturday 17th November

Location: The Colony Hotel, GIRNE

Earlier this year the BRS became aware of two expat British women dying suddenly without having previously made personal wills.

Since learning of these deaths, we have come across a number of members who have yet to make wills or have made wills a long time ago that may need reviewing.  It is also evident that some members don’t understand the need for a TRNC will in addition to any UK will they may have made and are confused about executors and powers of attorney etc.

To help provide information on this important subject the BRS is to organise a Will Writing Forum on Saturday 17th November at the Colony Hotel, Girne, beginning at 11.00 am.  We anticipate a presentation lasting roughly one hour followed by a question and answer session.

Tea/Coffee/Biscuits will be available from 10.00 am and to ensure we cater for the right number of people you are asked to let us know if you plan on attending.

Please note that the normal Saturday clinics at Lambousa Market and at the Hut in Girne will not operate on 17th November.  Instead we will have a clinic desk at the will writing forum from 09.30 – 10.30 am for membership renewals only.

To book your place(s) at the forum please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Finally, if there is specific concern you would like covered, please let us know at the above email address, so it can be incorporated into the presentation.
